Nutrition
Nutrition/food is the number one tool we have to help our bodies heal. Sometimes we eat the right foods, but something may be preventing the body from absorbing the nutrients. Other times we need to assess the patterns/habits we have fallen into and come up with a nutrition/food plan that will fit into a person's daily routine and that will complement one's lifestyle.
When diet is wrong, medicine is of no use. When diet is correct, medicine is of no need.

Herbs
Herbs are food.
The oldest plant fossils date back billions of years ago. Within the plant kingdom many species provide food and calories to help build and strengthen our bodies and provide much needed vitamins, these vitamins are used to regulate our metabolism.
In my consultations I will educate you on the different herbs that may help bring the body back into balance and how to incorporate them into your daily living.
The earth brought forth every kind of plant that bears seed and every kind of fruit tree on earth that bears fruit with its seed in it. God saw how good it was.

Lifestyle
I will go over what your lifestyle is at the present moment and make suggestions on how to enhance your daily life through movement and activity. This also includes discussion on your goals, dreams and aspirations.

Yoga-Ayurveda

Yoga and Ayurveda are ancient practices that date back 5000 years. Ayurveda is believed to be the oldest healing science in existence.
I will incorporate some of these practices into my consultation with you.



Breath, Mantra & Meditation
Pranayama (the art of breathing) is the control of life-energy by various methods that regulate and restrain breath. This helps one control the mind and body. Our awareness and perceptions become clearer which helps us with meditation. Meditation is a very healing practice that helps us achieve inner peace and calms the mind. Mantra Chikitsa is the process of healing through sacred sound.

Emotions
Every emotion is connected to an organ. Holding on to emotions can unbalance our organs. Sometimes we hold on to our emotions for a long time and they become chronic, other times there is a sudden, intense emotion that is due to various reasons and/or incidents. During our consultation I will help you become more in tune with your body and realize how these emotions are affecting you.
